EXHIBITION OF URBAN CREATIVITY MOLINS DE REI

Permanent art exhibition intervention in the public space in Molins de Rei. June 2018.

The project starts from AVV Les Conserves (Molins de Rei) and Molins de Rei town hall within the participatory budgets. The improvement action demanded by the neighbors for the underpass that connects the RENFE station with the Les Conserves neighborhood.

In order to improve the space we establish a selection of local artists, mostly young to intervene in the space. These artists have creative freedom and are paid for their work.

The result is an art exhibition that allows us, on the one hand, to dignify the space and, on the other hand, to give rise to interventions by local artists in the public space through a code of good practices where they are fairly remunerated for their work.

Intervening in the architectural context with a cultural and social base in order to turn around a space that is not used due to its darkness, it can get a second life.
