NULO on Vincles

Nulo is one of the artists who have participated in the vincle Sutura Urbana of the Vincles project, which we carry out with the Sant Vicenç dels Horts City Council. The theme of the mural was chosen collectively among entities, neighbors and neighbors of the municipality.

This mural reflects the struggle between nature and the urban that has taken place in Sant Vicenç dels Horts over the years. A city with a lot of agrarian tradition, close to the river, and with many orchards, has been transformed into a place of factories, more urban.

Null has been inspired by an encounter with neighbors, the map of the city and everything behind its history. This coexistence between green and gray appears abstractly in the mural, with different shapes, painting in a more sensory way with a unique and atypical language.

Lucia Pintos, aka Nulo, was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1989. In 2010 she began to study at the National School of Fine Arts. Nevertheless, she changed her mind after a year and took a self-taught way. In 2014 she joined Casa Wang, a collective of local, independent artists, where she organised workshops and exhibitions.

Nulo has specialised in plastic arts and muralism. Her work is impersonal and free and can be found above all in Uruguay, Brazil and Italy, where her study currently is.
