The artwork: Susanna and the elders

Ibie reinterprets a classic theme: Susanna and the elders. Tintoretto’s painting represents the story of Susanna, a woman falsely accused of adultery by two men. The chosen scene highlights that the harassment and the violence against women are still very present. The representation of the work has been transferred to Ibie’s language but keeping the composition and the themes that make up the work.
